Dan qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2011 and went on to spend eight years in clinical practice. With a strong interest in internal medicine, he completed a certificate in advanced veterinary practice (CertAVP) in this field, later adding a second CertAVP in Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia. Since moving away from hands‑on clinical work in 2018, he has held technical, marketing, commercial support and managerial roles within several large animal health companies across the UK and Europe. Despite being less ‘hands-on’ with his patients nowadays, Dan remains driven by the improvement of animal health and welfare through the provision of high‑quality, evidence‑based clinical support – something that is at the very forefront of his day-to-day.A
